As recommended by the Committee of the Whole, be it resolved that the Council of the Town of Perth: (i) approve the Draft 2026 Mayor's Budget; (ii) direct staff to bring forth a by-law to adopt the 2026 Mayor's Budget; (iii) reduce the period as set out in subsection 7(3) of O. Reg.3 530/22 to pass a resolution making an amendment to the Mayor's proposed budget from 30 days to 25 days; and, (iv) reduce the period as set out in subsection 7(10) of O. Reg. 530/22 to override the head of council’s veto of an amendment to the proposed budget from 15 days to 0 days; as presented in Report 2025-COW-14.1.
