That the Consent Agenda be amended to include the following By-law: By-law No. 5056 - Land Sale to Michel Wilfrid Hannah, being a by-law to authorize the Mayor and Clerk to enter into an Agreement to sell 0.65 acres of land in the industrial park on Warren Crescent, being part NE 1/2 Lot 28, Concession 10 North Elmsley, Part SW 1/2 Lot 27, Concession 10 North Elmsley, designated as Part 2 on 27R-10610; Town of Perth, being all of PIN 05318-0198, "Lot 2" on the Town of Perth's mapping to Michel Wilfrid Hannah, subject to the terms and conditions outlined, as presented in Report 2022-COW-9-IC.1.

That the following By-laws and Motions listed below in the Consent Agenda as amended to include By-law No. 5056 - Land Sale to Michel Wilfrid Hannah be passed.

Be it resolved that the Council of the Town of Perth accept for information the 2022/2023 Insurance Policy Renewal report; And further that Council acknowledges that the 2022/2023 Insurance Policy renewal for The Corporation of the Town of Perth will be authorized by the CAO and the Director of Corporate Services/Treasurer as per Delegation of Authority By-law No. 5046, as presented in Report 2022-COUNCIL-9.1.

Be it resolved that the Council of the Town of Perth adopts the following Indigenous Land Acknowledgement Statement: "We [I] respectfully acknowledge that the land on which we gather is the traditional home of various Indigenous Peoples. As we work towards reconciliation, may we all live with respect on this land and live in peace and friendship with all its diverse peoples." And further that the Indigenous Land Acknowledgement Statement be read at the beginning of Council meetings only; And further that a Procedure By-law amendment be brought forward to reflect the inclusion of this statement in the Order of Business for Council meetings, as presented in Report 2022-COW-9.8 and amended.

Be it resolved that the Council of the Town of Perth adjourn the September 20, 2022 Council meeting at 6:24 p.m.
