Whereas The Corporation of the Council of the Town of Perth is committed to community safety and well-being for its citizens; And whereas Part XVI Sec. 248 (1) of the Community Safety and Policing Act, 2019, S.O. 2019, c. 1, Sched. 1 states that “every municipality shall prepare and, by resolution, adopt a community safety and well-being plan”; Now Therefore be it resolved that The Corporation of the Town of Perth adopt the Community Plan for Safety and Well-being for Lanark County and the Town of Smiths Falls (2025-2029), as presented by Stephanie Gray, Coordinator, Lanark County Situation Table, Community Plan for Safety and Well-being Advisory Committee.
